• Hi All,

I have decided to use powerpress for my website and we will be posting several podcasts in the next few days from our old archive of podcasts. We are not going to try to do an import because the actual domain that the files sit on will not be there soon. so the old feeds will be rendered useless.

My worry is that the podcasts will be all out of order. Is there a way to put a date on them so that they display in the proper order and the old podcasts do not show before the new? Also is there a way to NOT make these go to the front page for this batch because the front page will be full of nothing but old archives.

If anyone knows a way or if my question is not clear please let me know… Thanks

The dates attached to your podcast episodes are controlled by changing the publish dates in your WordPress entries. So, if you want certain episodes to show up before others, just publish those with newer dates.

As far as a batch process for this, you’d normally achieve that by just importing dated entries from your old site. I’m not aware of a batch tool/plugin for creating new WordPress entries but there might be something out there.
