• I’ve noticed this for the past few weeks: When I publish a post that was previously saved as a draft, the published post is published with the date of the original draft on it.

This might be a problem specifically with the “quick draft” from the dashboard.

I know that the recommended practice is to shut off plugins and then turn then on and test them one by one, but I’ve got 20 active plugins and I’d rather not have to test-publish a draft to test each one of them, so if anyone else has run into this problem and can save me some time with advice… Thanks.

Thanks, but that looks like it’s a little different. My posts actually save and show up with a publication date of weeks before (not just in the dashboard, but on the public-facing site). I can publish a post today, but because I first saved the draft two weeks ago, you can’t find it on my front page; it shows up in chronological order from that first draft date, back behind all the posts that I wrote in one sitting and published at the time.
