Date Modified Not Showing Up in Google Search

    Hello, the date modified isn’t showing up in Google but it shows up in the post itself. I.e. for the above post, in Google, it shows a date of Feb 27th but has been updated 3-4 times since then, most recently June 23rd (which I understand might take a few more days to show up.

    I’ve enabled schema in the plugin (Default Mode (Creative Work) for posts and pages.

    Please advise.

    Hi,

    As you are using Yoast SEO plugin, plase use Compatibilty mode in the Schema Setion of this plugin. It will replace the published date of your post with modified date and then please wait for some days. After that Google will start to show the last modified date to ther SERPs.

    I have the same problem. After 1 month, Google is not showing anything different. I can see in the page makeup, the new date is there, but Google isn’t using it.

    I am not displaying the revised date on page with the plugin (its already in my theme). Could this be a factor in Google not using it? Anything else for me to try?

    My rankings have dropped since installing this plugin so I am going to remove it
