date is not shown in the details of single-view

Hmm, that’s strange. Have you made any customizations?

Can you also try this out with a default theme such as Twenty Twelve and no other plugins running?

Just added this to my child theme style.css:

.screen-reader-text,
.updated {
display:inline!important;
}

and the plugin showed the date.
