Date in IE does not work

Contact Form 7 has some Datepicker support via the new HTML5 date input type (see https://contactform7.com/date-field/) but this is currently only supported on some browsers – see https://www.wufoo.com/html5/types/4-date.html

Contact Form 7does provide jQuery UI-based fallback for the date and number input fields. See https://contactform7.com/faq/does-contact-form-7-support-html5-input-types/

when adding
1 add_filter( ‘wpcf7_support_html5_fallback’, ‘__return_true’ );

to functions.php, the website has a blank page.

Can you give me a step by step guide how to solve this issue?

There are problems with it an IE. I have them too.

@kokoruz – changing back to text is a sensible option IMHO if you don’t have the skills and experience to add the jQuery UI-based fallback explained at https://contactform7.com/faq/does-contact-form-7-support-html5-input-types/

I was hoping that the plugin builder would respond to that, but so far no luck.
