    Hello,

we force an issue in the confirmation email when we get an order. This issue is also existing on the date of the invoice.

So if someone ordered today (29.05.2023), we got the date of the order in the confirmation email like this:

    2929.0505.20232023

we checked the sittings of our WP and our woocommerce and it seems everything is ok. Could someone help us to solve this issue?

    Thanks in advance

  • Exactly what has been entered at
Dashboard > Settings > General > Date format

If “Custom” has been selected, what is the value for custom?

This is the WordPress settings page, not the WooCommerce settings page.

    Hi @mohdq2002

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an issue with the date format in your confirmation emails and invoices.

I understand that there might be an issue with the date format configuration in your WooCommerce settings or a conflict with another plugin or theme.

Double-check the date format settings in your WordPress and WooCommerce configurations:

    • For WordPress: Go to Settings > General and make sure the Date Format is set correctly (e.g., “d.m.Y” for the format “29.05.2023”).
    • For WooCommerce: Go to WooCommerce > Settings > General and ensure the Date format under Store Address is set correctly (e.g., “d.m.Y”).

If these are correct, it looks like a third-party plugin or your theme might be causing the conflict here.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please share your System Status Report, that will help us further troubleshoot.

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Let us know how it goes!

I’m not seeing a Date format setting on the WooCommerce > Settings > General tab when using the core plugin only.

    Dear xue28 (woo-hc)

Thanks a lot for your massage. Could you please be sure about this:

For WooCommerce: Go to?WooCommerce > Settings > General.

I cant find the Date option in WooCommerce > Settings > General.

    Thanks a lot

    Hello @mohdq2002 ,

I cant find the Date option in WooCommerce > Settings > General.

Apologies for the confusion on our end, the date format is controlled in the WordPress settings, not WooCommerce. @lorro asked the right question.

Can you please let us know what you have set in Settings > General > Date format?

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
