Date formatting incorrectly

I noticed an issue with setting the date on your events calendar plugin. When I click on the date on the calendar, for example July 4, 2013. It will then input the date: 04/07/2013 – which in turn displays on my calendar as April 7, 2013.
Please let me know if I can fix this somehow. Thanks!
