Date format not correct when selecting from date picker

    Let’s assume the date I want to auto close a form is 19th June 2019. When using the date picker to select the date, the date is entered as 19S June 2019, which produces an error.

    I would assume this is because my date format in WP is set to jS F Y, so the plugin seems not to be able to resolve the ‘S’ as part of the date. It’s easy to manually resolve as I just correct it each time. However, is this something you could look at sometime?

    The date-picker is a jquery plugin that does not support all date formats.

    The best I could do would be to remove any ‘S’ from the date format when passing it to the date picker. That would be quite easy, so I’ll do it for the next release. (That may not be for several months, because I’m pretty busy right now.)

    OK that’s reasonable. At the moment I notice the issue and change the format manually which is acceptable anyway. In a way, the S appearing is a prompt to change it. So if it’s not easy to fix, it might be good to leave as is?
