Date format malfunction in FRENCH

  • I got two websites, one in english, one in french.
    On the french one, wordpress is in french too.

    I got : [date* date class:date date-format:MM-dd-yy min-date:today+1 first-day:0]

    On the English one, date format is OK;
    On the French one, date-format is dd-mm-yy no matter what I put in the shortcode…

    WP 4.6.1 / Theme AVADA latest version

    Any solution ?
