When I use the field to get a date, for example Date of Birth, the user gets a calender to fill in the date, but in the DB and emails, the result is written as mm-dd-yyyy.
    In my WP default set-up, I use ?? j. M Y : l?r 5. mar 2016 (l?r means SAT)

In the mail, I could accept dd-MMM-yyyy (05-MAR-2016). I prefer to get the month in 3-letter code to avoid misunderstandings, like American 03-05-2016 is understood in Europe as 03-MAY-2016.
How can I get the correct format of the date in the DB and in the e-mail sending the form?

Anywhere, where I can do the set-up correctly?

Hi, unfortunately at present that option is added to the plugin.

I have submitted a message to the plugin developer to look further into your request.

    Thank you

The only date options available are the ones you can select on the Fields settings tab.

The options are limited because the calendar script I was able to use is limited to a free open source version. I cannot find any other free calendar scripts with more features, sorry.

Hi – a follow up to this, is it possibly to change the date format displayed in the emails sent? I’m keen to display the day of the week in the email I receive for example.

If possible it would I guess require an additional option, I which opens up a much bigger question or development issue for you as I note there are no content/style options for the contact email sent. Is there somewhere I can go into the back end of the plug in to make such adjustments myself?
