Date format d-m-y –> m-d-y

  • Hello,

    Can you please provide where the date formatting is located within the theme? I would like the date to be formatted to m-d-y instead of d-m-y.

    I tried to alter the code in content-page.php:
    <span class=”s_date”><i class=”fa fa-calendar-o”></i>” rel=”bookmark”><?php the_time(‘m-d-Y’); ?></span>
    with no avail.

    Also, from the main page, clicking on the date just refreshes the site and does not open the post.

    For changing the date format go to settings -> general from here you can set the date format, give it a try may it will work.

    That’s the point of this post: the date settings in the Settings menu has no effect on the template, so presumably it has to be edited by hand.
