    Hi,

first of all thanks for your great plugin.

I have one question concerning a field in date format. I know that I can use the [date] field for the current date and the displayed date format in the pdf file is displayed correctly according to the settings in WP (m.d.Y).

But unfortunately, that does not count for other date fields (e.g. date of birth,…) in the pdf. They are still in format yyyy-mm-dd.

    What can I do?

    Hello @aschoeppach

To clarify, the date format works with a date field. I was wondering if you have utilized a date field or other text or any other field to enter your birthday information?

Could you kindly share visual demonstrations by providing screenshots of both the contact form and PDF settings to help me better understand the process?

    Regards

    Hello,

may I apologize for my late answer. In the attachment are located the required images. I have found another error with the newest version of pdf 7, because the attached file in an e-mail is not deleted in the media anymore as you can see in the attachments as well.

    I’m using: cf7 Version 5.7.6, wp 6.2 and generate_pdf_using_cf7 Version 4.0.2

    Kind regards, Andreas

Thanks for the answer. Ok, so the date settings are a pro feature, although in cf7 it is included…

As I have shown you in my attached images, I have already the correct configuration for the deletion of the pdf files. And as I told you, it worked a few month ago, but now the files won’t be deleted. So I think it is a bug in a recent version. Or maybe in relation with a recent version of cf7 or wp?

    Kind regards

    Hello @aschoeppach

Apologies for the confusion In above response. Here I’m providing the correct link to the working demo. please check it out.

After reviewing the attached video, you can confirm that there is no conflict between Contact Form 7 (CF7) or the PDF plugin in the latest update.

In the video, two demos are shown:

    1. When the “Do Not Remove PDF” option is enabled.
    2. When the “Remove PDF” option is enabled, It is evident that the PDF is not stored in the media after submitting form when option is enabled.

To address the issue, we recommend checking the configuration of your CF7 form. There may be a configuration error causing the conflict.

If you require further assistance, we encourage you to generate a ticket through the provided support channel. Our team will be glad to help you troubleshoot the issue.

And for the date field we can release this in upcoming update.

Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.

    Regards
    Zealousweb
