Date for comments are the same as the post

    Every time someone makes a comment on my site it shows the date and time as the same as the post. In admin, the timestamp is correct, but not on the actual frontend. They all display May 30, 2007 at 8am. etc which was the time that my post was made.

  • Since it seems to be a theme made by you (or custom for you) – the issue is with using the wrong template tag in the comments.php

    Most likely you have the_time and/or the_date but you need
    comment_date and/or comment_time

    That did it. I was unaware of there being a different time thing for that.
