Date filtering

Love the date filtering facility but, for my purposes, it doesn’t go quite far enough. My main database is a Church services rota and, for the front end, I would like to have the ability to filter the data so that only dates in the future are displayed. Also, I would like to create another page where only certain columns are displayed and for a number of days (user defined) going forward. For example, display Columns 1, 2, 3 & 4 where the date is in the future and for the next 60 days. What would make this plugin mega-awesome is the ability make create your own queries using MySQL. Is that a possibility.
