Date field works with Google Chrome only

Contact Form 7 has some Datepicker support via the new HTML5 date input type (see https://contactform7.com/date-field/) but this is currently only supported on some browsers – see https://www.wufoo.com/html5/types/4-date.html

Contact Form 7does provide jQuery UI-based fallback for the date and number input fields. See https://contactform7.com/faq/does-contact-form-7-support-html5-input-types/

Thanks for reply. That’s what I am saying. It doesn’t work with Firefox, Safari and IE. So I can’t actually use it. I have to use Text Field.

Did you try the add_filter( 'wpcf7_support_html5_fallback', '__return_true' ); option given in https://contactform7.com/faq/does-contact-form-7-support-html5-input-types/ ?

Thanks for that. Haven’t tried yet. But I will just use text field. Not good to push people away and frustrate them. That’s the worst thing can happen to anybody’s website.
