Date Field Invalid Format since 3.6.8

Anyone else suddenly finding that the date field on forms states an invalid format unless the day entered is 6 or lower?
In Aust so settings use d/m/Y format. From what I have tested so far, any dates where the day is 7 or higher results in a ‘Please enter a valid date!’ error.
