    Hi,

Great plugin. I am struggling with importing from CSV to a custom date field I’ve created (using Advanced Custom Fields). The format of my field is ‘m/dd/yy’ and value from field in csv would be example ‘1/1/2012’. I can get all of my other custom fields to import fine but date field doesn’t work. Any suggestions? I know it must be something with format.

    Thanks!

  • Make your date like this: 2013-4-27 17:45 and choose the last option in the date options list, like the warning in red.

It should work, other wise please check your csv. On testing i can import 1/22/2013 as a custom field successfully.

Also having the same issue with the plugin – the last version was great but as soon as I updated, I haven’t been able to add any content into custom fields, none of my csv files have changed at all.

I am just using standard custom fields no plugin for this…

    Do you have any ideas?

    Please fix it!!

This issue has been fixed in 3.0.0. Please upgrade and give your feedback

With the latest update I seem to be having an issue with ACF and WP Ultimate CSV Importer.

I’m using a custom post type and the fields for mapping show up as the field_key not the field_name (ex: field_5238801a2013d instead of test_field_1). After importing, the data does show in the custom fields data section of the custom post, but the values do not show in the ACF fields themselves on that post. I believe this is due to the importer not seeing and attaching the values from the CSV to the field_name.

Any ideas on how to get the field_key changed to the field_name for mapping?

The free version of plugin does not support ACF fields as they are stored in different way.
