Date field

  • I am using BP Profile Seach on a Dating site.
    I have created a search form with search fields such as : city, transport, country etc.. and a date selector as well.
    I would like members to be able to search for their “lovestruck encounters” by date/s as well.
    When I view the Search Form the date range is shown as 2 empty fields.
    I would like those fields to display dd/mm/yyyy or even better and if possibe a datepicker to choose dates from.
    Can anybody give me an idea how to do it or point me to the right direction.

    At the moment it’s not possible to search for dates, but since you are asking for this feature I’ll try to add it in one of the next plugin releases.

    I’m also interested in searching dates in xprofile fields.
    Basically to search for profiles available on or after a particular availability date.

    Does this have a chance to be implemented anytime soon?

    Hi maelga,

    The implementation of this feature is not simple, because in some way it interferes with the existing Age Range feature. That means it’s in my to-do list, but I haven’t planned it yet.
