Hi, my site’s date on front page doesn’t change/update at 12 AM automatically. It updates only when I exclude home-url from being cached or when I disable NGINX Direct Delivery option on server. The problem is if I exclude url from being cached, google pagespeed/gtmetrix score drops too.
Is there any other way to fix the date problem? Thanks.

    Hey there @chelebela1,

Hey there, the date is most probably being cached by the dynamic cache and since there are no events that clear the cache automatically, the date is not being changed.

You can add the logic of changing the date in a script. The script will be cached, but it will change the date in a specific element. This will solve the issue and you can still use dynamic caching.

    Kind regards,
    Stoyan

    Hi Stoyan,
Thanks for your reply. Could you please tell me how I can add the logic of changing the date in a script?
I use newspaper theme to show date on top bar. Here is the link of my site.

FYI, after searching the forum, it seems to me that theme developers don’t have solution for this.

Marking as resolved, since this is not an issue with the plugin, but expected behavior.

If you want your date to be dynamically changed, please use javascript to populate the date field or exclude the page from the cache.

    Regards,
