• Hello,

Are there defaults/ways to control how the date is displayed without using code? Are there controls in the dashboard? I am not finding a way to turn the date posted display on or off?

    Thanks!

    Ted

  • You can change time/date format to custom in settings and then leave the fields blank.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply – follow up – leave what fields blank?

    Thanks.

    Ted

If you look at “custom” for time and date under settings>general you will see a box for making an entry. Leave that blank.

This is how I have my settings currently:

When I go to a blog page, there is no date or time for the post… I can’t figure out why…

    Thoughts?

Sorry, I thought you wanted to turn it off. I see the date on your blog, https://www.westminstertech.com/blog/ if that is yours.

The date and time is controlled by your theme. You can check the documentation you have or contact the theme developers. Sorry I don’t have a link.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.

    Ok, I’ll contact them.

    Thanks.
