    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

The cause for this is not actually a bug in TablePress, but TablePress just exposes a potential conflict in a more prominent way (by showing the error message instead of just failing with a JavaScript error).

The actual cause here is that you have enabled the “Table Features for Site Visitors” in a table that gets combined/merged cells inserted, from the ezoic auto ads plugin. For technical reasons, these table features are not compatible with tables that have combined cells.

So, to fix this, you must either uncheck the “Enable Visitor Features” in the “Table Features for Site Visitors” section on the table’s “Edit” screen, or you must (if that’s possible) exclude these tables from automatically getting ads inserted by the ezoic plugin.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thank you for your quick response Tobias. I greatly appreciate you looking into the problem for me. I have disabled the ads from showing in Ezoic on the 3 pages that I mentioned. Unfortunately the error is still coming up. I did disable the visitor feature in Tablepress on one of the pages and that has resolved the problem.

However, I am keen to have visitors be able to sort the table – is there anything else that I can do which would allow my visitors to have the table functionality?

    Hi,

when I check https://www.adventurehq.com.au/listing/nsw-north-coast-beaches/, that table still contains ezoic ads in the table, I’m afraid.

    Regards,
    Tobias
