Hello,

I got this error when I refresh the page containing my DataTables and get this javascript popup :
DataTables warning: table id=table5 - Token expired, please refresh page

When I press on OK, I have the same error for another table id which is not on the page I’m visiting.

Then I logged into my account and open the page again without making a modification, the error message disapear and the table is displayed.

The shortcode I’m using is :
[wpdataaccess pub_id="5"]

And the plugin is up to date (Version 5.0.2)

Any idea why I get this error ?

This issue is explained on the FAQ page:

Please search for: “token expired”

The “token expired” message can be suppressed. This is explained here:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-publisher/advanced-settings/

But it is better to check if your data is cached. To keep your tables up to date you should to prevent caching.

Hello Peter,

Thanks for your help.

I had the plugin called “LiteSpeed Cache” that I had disabled because I don’t need it.

Could you tell me how to test ? I need to wait 24h hours and check if I still get this error message right ? Tell me if I can modify the duration to test quickly.

Otherwise I’ll add {“killToken”:true} in the Table options (advanced).

Hi @busterland,

Sorry, there is no way to change the interval. But I recommend to wait 24 hours and keep the token. The token protects your publication service for hackers. It checks the validaty of your arguments to prevent users being able to change a publication query.

Hello Peter,

I’m still facing this issue. I have this message again whereas I don’t have any cache plugin.
Even when I press F5 and click on OK, the message is still displayed. I tried to access to the website with my phone, but I don’t have the message.
I have deleted the cookies in Chrome and the message disapears.

How can I disabled cache for this feature?

Hi @busterland,

SHORT VERSION
Edit your publication and enter {"killToken":true} into field “table options (advanced)”. This will force the plugin to disregard the token.

LONG VERSION
Search for “token expired” on this page:

This page contains an explanation about the advanced table options which is a very powerfull feature supporting many more options.

I still like to advise to search for the caching source. Can you share a public URL? If so, could you temporarily enable debug mode? This is explained here:

You can turn it off later.
