Datatables (jQuery) and WP Query?

    Hi!

    As a cut-and-paste-programmer (equals less than amateur) I am trying to put my HTML table created with WP Query (custom fields) into Datatables plugin of jQuery. Or better: I want to sort, paginate and filter the output of my WP Query. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, what is wrong with the way I have done it right now?
