    Hi Tobias

Just getting up and running with TablePress, so apologies if this is a very basic question.

I’ve enabled the DataTables options on the TablePress dashboard but they don’t seem to be appearing on my site. I checked your support documentation and I’m not seeing any errors in my browser ‘console’.

Are there any other plugins I need to install or or anything else I need to activate on my site to make the DataTables functions work?

Thanks so much in advance for your help,
    Ben

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

If the “Use DataTables” checkbox is really checked on the page’s “Edit” screen, the cause for the problem might be that your theme does not contain a all to the wp_footer(); PHP function in its footer.php file, right before the </body> HTML tag. Could you please check that?

For a quick test, you could also switch to a WordPress default theme like TwentyTwenty, temporarily.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias

Thank you so much for your swift reply. I had not noticed that the wp_footer function was missing, and having restored it, the plugin is now working correctly ??

    Thanks again for your help!
