DataTables FixedColumns not working with elementor

thanks for the links! The problem here are merged/combined cells (via the #colspan# keyword) in the top table, with ID 3. Unfortunately, the external JavaScript library that brings the features like sorting, filtering, or the fixed first column, doesn’t work in tables that have such merged/combined cells.
For such tables, the only choice is to use “regular” horizontal scrolling (without a fixed first column), by using the scroll mode that the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/responsive-tables/ offers.

but on the other page, there are two tables for which the JavaScript features are enabled. And as that JavaScript code breaks due the #colspan# in the first table, the code for the other one is not executed, due to how browsers evaluate JavaScript code.
You must remove the Shortcode parameter again from the Shortcode of table 3, and uncheck the “Use DataTables” checkbox on its “Edit” screen.

You can keep everything enabled for table 22, as that does not use #colspan#.

Sorry I get you now…

I have disabled data tables on table 3 (as its not actulall needed!) and the scrolling is now working!!! thank you!!!

One slight issue – something is stretching the th row height.

Is there a way to stop this?

That row stretching is the result of the CSS code

.tablepress td, .tablepress th {
  padding: 8px 4px !important;
}

that seems to be loaded from the CSS file https://s793648852.websitehome.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/so-css/so-css-generatepress.css. I don’t know where it was entered originally, though. Maybe some Custom CSS field of the theme?
