DataTables ColumnFilterWidgets

1. Unfortunately, I don’t know if that is possible, as this is a function that is coming from an external JavaScript library. It might be possible that this can be achieved by using this TablePress Extension: https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-inverted-filter/

2. From what I know, there’s an option for that in the mentioned external library (see https://datatables.net/extras/thirdparty/ColumnFilterWidgets/DataTables/extras/ColumnFilterWidgets/max-selections.html ). However, this is not part of the TablePress Extension at this time, and due to time constraints, I don’t have the time to add this as part of the free support that I can give. If this is important for you, we could maybe try to work something out with a compensation. In that case, please send me an email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”), so that we can discuss details.

Can you check the first name column of this table?(https://mottie.github.io/tablesorter/docs/example-widget-filter-custom.html) Is possible to have this kind of search instead of show cross out words below the filter box?

Unfortunately, I don’t think that that is possible with the ColumnFilterWidgets script out of the box. Sorry ?? You would probably have to extend the JS code of that library internally. As I’m not the developer of that library, I don’t know how one could approach that though ??
