Products & orders data look like they are all stored in wp_posts table in the WordPress database. What is the reason this data is not stored in unique tables for the plugin? For example wp_asp or something like that? This way, if you allow the option in plugin settings to delete the plugin (and all related data) it will be a clean and complete uninstall of all data related to the plugin from the database.

    Thanks

We use custom post type for this plugin. Custom post type uses the standard wp_posts table. That offers a few advantages that allows us to offer features that we want. It’s a decision that we made when we created the plugin.

You will need to use a different plugin that uses separate custom database table (we will not change this plugin, it will continue to work as it currently does).

Ok, thanks for the answer. Can you give an example of why using custom post type w/ wp_posts table for storing data is a good advantage?

    Just curious…
