    Hi there,
I have the following message at the top of the page of the Tracking Form Data page:

“THIS DATABASE VIEW WILL BE REMOVED WITH CFORMSII VERSION 14.15!
Copy all submissions to CFDB.CFDB 2.10.32 (the current version at release of cformsII 14.14) has some issues importing cformsII data. If you want the original submission date to be retained, file upload and multi-part form support, please use Bastian Germann’s version. Later official versions will probably include its changes.”

When I click on the link for the Bastian Germann’s version it says Not Found. When I click on the “Copy all submissions to CFDB” I get an error message that starts with “Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in…”

Any chance of some help as to what to do? Don’t want to lose this database content for class applications.

Did you install the CFDB plugin from https://cfdbplugin.com ? It has the necessary changes now.

I haven’t installed anything. Our client has inquired about this and we are fixing it. So what is currently installed is:

    cforms2 ver. 14.14
    contact form DB ver. 2.10.34

What is it I need to do then? Deactivate the current contact form DB install and download then install the newest contact form DB ver. 2.10.36 and activate it?

    Yes.

Then push the export button again.

Sorry where is the export button I need to push? I had to delete the old version of CFDB but still have the message at the top of the Tracking page of cforms2

Do you mean click the “Copy all submissions” link?

I now see the data in the appropriate forms in contact forms DB. I am assuming this means the submissions have been copied over. Will that message at the top of the Tracking page eventually go away once the new 14.15 version is available?

Not only the top but the whole Tracking page will be gone in 14.15. That is why the warning is there in the first place.

Oh ok. So then the client will just track their forms in the contact form db instead of the cforms2? If so will they still need the cforms2 plugin? Or is that what collects the data? Sorry for the question, I wasn’t the one that set this all up so just trying to get an idea as to how it all works.

cformsII is what defines the form and collects the data on form submission. It then hands the data over to CFDB which is responsible for storing and displaying it. So please keep both plugins installed.

You can deactivate the tracking database in cformsII now. This should reduce irritated users.
