    Hi Community,

something reset my WooCommerce database version to 3.2.1 every night.

If I start a database update manually than it works until the upcoming night. My current version is “WooCommerce Datenbank Version: 4.6.1”

I′ll check the state every morning and it′s always back to version 3.2.1. Some of my installed plugins checks this version number and gets disabled because of the old version.

Is there any way to figure out the issue?

    Thanks for your support.

    Hi there,

I’m wondering if this might be related to database caching – have you checked with your hosting provider whether they’re reverting back to an earlier version of your database for some reason? When running the database updates – are you seeing changes to the database tables being made or is it *just* a change on the version number?

    Hi @toto1988!

I have seen this happen before.

Do you have another test/staging website that is perhaps connected to the same database? I often see that as the cause of this.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

I checked it again. This happens more than twice a day. May it′s a bad cron task?
everything was fine in the early morning and after lunch the version was reset again.

I start the database update manually several times a day ??

I′m using WooCommerce on just one website.

are you seeing changes to the database tables being made or is it *just* a change on the version number?

How can I check if there are some changes in the tables?

There is no caching plugin installed or do you mean a database caching module running on the webserver?

    Cron overview:

    Thanks!

Hi @toto1988. Sorry that we missed your last update. My colleague also asked:

Do you have another test/staging website that is perhaps connected to the same database? I often see that as the cause of this.

    Is that the case here?
