• Hello,

    I’m sorry if this has been posted I’ve searched for a while now and could not figure out the problem.

    I have recently upgrated to the latest version of WordPress and when I attempted to log into my admin section it came up with.

    Database Upgrade Required

    Your WordPress database is out-of-date, and must be upgraded before you can continue.

    The upgrade process may take a while, so please be patient.

    I then clicked on the link to upgrade my database and it then gave me this error.

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 34204 bytes) in /home/berryc/public_html/wp-includes/cache.php on line 48

    I added a line of code into my wp-config.php because I had many errors on my main page. The line of code I added was the define (‘DISABLE_CACHE’, ‘1’);

    Could anyone help me figure out the problem why it will not allow me to update my database?

    Thanks in advance
