    Hello,

    Thanks for this great plugin!

    After updating to the latest version and initiatiating the database update, the progress bar went immediately to 100% but with a red background.

    Now the dashboard keeps showing LifterLMS database update in progress — after more than an hour. I believe the process is broken and your help doc does not provide a solution. Here’s the error shown in the site php error log:

    3Uncaught Error: Class ‘LLMS_Admin_Notices’ not found in /srv/bindings/fa252bc069154f5c88fe2436f8b94e0a/code/wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/functions/llms.functions.updates.php:949 Stack trace: #0 /srv/bindings/fa252bc069154f5c88fe2436f8b94e0a/code/wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/class.llms.background.updater.php(165): llms_update_3130_builder_notice() #1 /srv/bindings/fa252bc069154f5c88fe2436f8b94e0a/code/wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/libraries/wp-background-processing/wp-background-process.php(305): LLMS_Background_Updater->task(‘llms_update_313…’) #2 /srv/bindings/fa252bc069154f5c88fe2436f8b94e0a/code/wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/class.llms.background.updater.php(123): WP_Background_Process->handle() #3 /srv/bindings/fa252bc069154f5c88fe2436f8b94e0a/code/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(298): LLMS_Background_Updater->handle_cron_healthcheck() #4 /srv/bindings/fa252bc069154f5c88fe2436f8b94e0a/code/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(323): WP_Hook->apply_filters(wp-content/plugins/lifterlms/includes/functions/llms.functions.updates.php:949

    Can you provide some guidance on how to resolve this issue?

    Thanks!

  • @heretiq,

    Sorry about this… If you navigate to LifterLMS -> Status and then click the “Taking too long button” it should complete without errors…

    I’m not sure why this error is occurring but I’ll take a look at trying to fix it for other users who upgrade in the future.

    Hope that helps,

    Thanks for the follow-up @thomasplevy. However “LifterLMS -> Status and then click the “Taking too long button”” did not work — until I upgraded to Lifter LMS version 3.14.1.

    Problem resolved now.

    Thanks again for a great utility!
