Database Tables

Hi

I got hacked recently and had a backup that was a few weeks old. I was able to restore and then discovered the hack was in the database tables and I had to restore from a backup that was 4 weeks old not the later one because those tables contained the hack. If I purchase a Jetpack backup does that backup the tables etc please? How does it work?
