Database still exists, but I lost my wp-content file

    I was a complete idiot and accidentally deleted my wp-content folder. I still have all of my plugins and theme on my computer. Is there any way that I can restore my website with the current database without losing EVERYTHING????

    Right now it’s just a white screen because my theme is now gone! Please! Any advice or instructions would be so helpful!!

  • You can put back the /wp-content/plugins/ and /wp-content/themes/. But you probably still need the /wp-content/uploads/ folder as well.

    Do you have any file backups on your host? There’s a good chance you can find and put back the entire /wp-content/ folder

    Thanks! But that is exactly what I did. I had to redesign the site anyways. So this just basically lit a fire under my ass lol.
