    Hello there,

Thanks for creating this plugin, I found the user interface quite user friendly and well arranged.

Now that I got everything set up and going I’ve noticed that my database grew insanely large to roughly 500MB. The wp_options table has a lot of options prefixed wphb_cache_preload_batch_. It shocked me quite a bit, because I was not expecting the plugin to store that much in the database. Increasing cost of database hosting might be another issue that comes along with sudden increase of size like that.

Is it possible to get back to my original database size? Do I have to disable the preload or any other feature? Can the amount of data stored be avoided or can this plugin not be used otherwise?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @fyn

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

Can you please navigate to the Hummingbird > Advanced Tools > Site Health and flush the preload and assets cache?

You can disable the Hummingbird Preload, this function is mainly used for small websites that not receive multiple visits. In case your website receives multiple users you can let the plugin cache the content on the fly.

Let us know the result you got.

    Hello Patrick,

Yep, clearing that cache cleans it up nicely.
I guess I’ll disable the preload feature then and see how it goes in terms of performance. I imagined there would be an advantage on first page load for a new user when having that option enabled.

    Thanks!
