Database size backup doesn’t match actual size

    Hello,

    I was downloading my backups yesterday to store offline from Google Drive and noticed the size of the database backup file is 32 MBs, but my actual phpadmin visible size is 390 MBs.

    The other backup files seem reflective of the actual size, but not the database. Why could this be?

    All the limits on my server are set to the max for a VPS.

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus excludes some of the file like the “updraftplus” which contains the log and backups, wp-core files and other files that are not standard WP files.

    Thanks. The file backups size seems fine, it’s the database one that is the issue.
