Database Problem when Migrating to a New Server

    I am trying to migrate my site to a new server. I have got everything working fine, except that none of my categories or tags appear in the new site–all posts show up as uncategorized and without tags. Here is what I did:

    1. I created a new mySQL database and configured wp-config.php to look to it.

    2. I exported my old database to a .sql file using myPHPadmin, then I uploaded the .sql file to the new server.

    3. From the mySQL command line, I used the SOURCE command to import the old database into the news database.

    As I say, everything works great except the categories and tags, which don’t seem to have made the migration.
