Database prefix change

    Hi,

    2 hours back I have tried to configure WP security on my site which was working fine.
    Upon changing database prefix in the settings, i lost my site. It is asking me to install wordpress over and over again.

    I have changed DB name in wp_config.php also. but no luck.
    In my database I have tables with both default wp_ and rename_ also.
    Can anyone please help.
    my site is down now.

    Did you take a DB backup before you changed your DB prefix (as recommended by the instructions)?

    Have you tried asking your host provider if they have a backup snapshot you can restore from?
