Database Optimization runs hours and still not done

    Hi there,

    i’m trying to use the function Databas optimisation to optimise the Database tables.

    I have startet the progress today in the morning and the small weehl is running since. It was looking like alwys, running “normal”. But since hours at the sheet wp_statistics_visit nothing is happening, the weehl is still running but no step forwarnd now. How can i check if this tool is working or not? The page is working correctly i have disable the PlugIn WP statistics (chich creates this database table) before i startet the progress, so that no new entrys will be made.

    Any suggestions what i can do?

    Additional info:
    Only the Table mentioned has more then 3 Million Entries and an index MB of more then 350 MB and a Datavolume of more then 380 MB. All other Tables hav not so many…

    Hi Leo,

    It can happen that optimizing the database tables stalls for some reason.
    This results in the queue being interrupted, like you have experienced.
    You can safely refresh the page and try again if you wish.

    The next release will come with a fix to this “stalling” issue, where the queue will continue when one of the requests times out.

    Is the time out an issue? No, because the optimization for the current table will continue until finished.

    Thanks for the Feedback.

    After i have reload the page and cleard the Datebase which i mentioned here with very old entrys (which i don’t need for the statsitics) is was working fine.
