Database on different Server

Hi, I am new to WordPress. Our requirement is to include blog on our organization website. I installed WP under HtDocs folder creating a new folder blog. My DB is on different server so provided proper DBHOST (as per the installation guide) in wp-config.php.

As the next step when I execute https://www.xxx.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php I get error “Error establishing a database connection”. I checked the wp-config to verify that all the information given is correct. I went to phpmyAdmin of the DB Server and included the IP of the server hosting our site.

Still receive the same error. Is there something which I still need to do?
