    Hello.

Your plugin although it can restore a wordpress database from ex.: https://www.domain1.com to sub1.domain1.com or any other domain, it does not perform full search and replace. It changes only the site urls. There are many tables ex.: wp_posts that hold the previous domain name, images urls, posts etc.

You have to use another plugin to make a full search and replace in the database tables.

Please add a support to manual or automatically do full search and replace in all tables.

    Thank you.

    Hello @moultrex

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Our plugin will automatically replace all URLs during the migration process.

If you found that some URLs were not replaced, here are some possible causes and solutions:

    1.Restore was not completed successfully.

Please make sure that the restore was completed successfully and you have seen the success message.

    2. There was a database service problem.

Please go to the source site > WPvivid Settings> Advanced Settings> Choose PDO as the Database Access Method> Save Changes, then try to perform migration again.

If the issue still persists, please let us know the exact urls that were not replaced, a screenshot will help.

In addition, in our pro version, we have indeed added a URL replacement tool (see screenshot – https://prnt.sc/trin48).

    Kind Regards,
