Some strange things have recently happened to my Woo site…

    1. Apostrophes and quote marks have been replaced by ‘?’ in the product titles and description text. i.e Let?s Talk About Series Discussion Cards – instead of: Let’s Talk About…

    2. Also some odd product attributes have appeared that I didn’t add. There is an age range filter in side bar that now has some date attributes i.e 02-May, 04-Nov.

I did a bit of research on point 1 and have been told that it could be a database issue. Using Woo 3.7 with all plugins etc updated. I tried disabling all plugins, clearing caches etc, but no luck.

    Appreciate any advice or tips?

That sounds indeed like a database issue. It might be the charset not being set properly. That is something set by WordPress so you might want to ask in the general WordPress support forum for more information. Does it happen also on pages and/or blog posts?

    2. Also some odd product attributes have appeared that I didn’t add. There is an age range filter in side bar that now has some date attributes i.e 02-May, 04-Nov.

Where is this filter? I cannot see it in the page you sent us.

hi, I fixed the problem by reverting to a previous backup and re-updating theme, plugins etc. No idea what caused it, but could have been a rogue plug-in? Anyway all good now. Thanks
