• Hi, I have the plugin running on two sites and It’s a great plugin. But I’m having an issue with the ‘Database is not writable’ on one of them. The first site is on a subdomain, cup.thewfa.co.uk and all I did to get the dashboard message to go away was add / to the front of the path, before wp-content. However on this new install that option hasn’t worked. For context, the url https://thewfa.co.uk/register-player/ is two wordpress installs. The first install is on https://thewfa.co.uk/ and this has no version of the Participant db plugin. There is a separate install of wordpress and the participant db plugin on /register-player/. The sign up form is working and I’ve had close to 800 players register, but I have a team with 300 players and they want to send me a CSV to upload and of course based on the dashboard message, that won’t work. I’m hoping you can help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Generally, this means the settings are incorrect, but I can’t tell you the setting to use, this may vary depending on the configuration of your WordPress install. However, it’s always a good idea to reset things back to the default (which will work in most cases).

Remember to dismiss the error message before testing.

A careful read of this section should get you going:

One more thing, you mention the URLs of your two WP installs….this won’t matter because the settings for the upload location are relative to the WP install, not the absolute URL of the site.
