Database flooding

  • My client just got in touch to ask why their WooCommerce order numbers were suddenly skyrocketing (from 4000s to 22,000s in a few days). Turns out:
    a) The order id is the row id from the posts table.
    b) This plugin was flooding the posts table with posts labeled “wc-admin_import_order”. I can see why others have complained about it using up all of their server resources.

    Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, you will see a jump in order (and other post type) IDs each time you run the WC Admin import process.

    I get this every single day all the time no matter what. Ridiculous. I only ran the WC Admin import process once.
    My orders jump thousands every few days.
    I noticed the bug report was closed off prematurely while researching. Definitely seems prematurely available. Just deactivated the plugin.
