Database error with Pinterest Feed

    Hello Team,

    we have been using Feed Elite Pro for almost a year now and have never had any problems with the tool. We recently changed our theme from “Blossom Shop Pro” to “Woodmart”.

    Since then we have had a permanent database error (several times a day). The entire website crashes. According to the error logs, the reason seems to be the Pinterest feed – the Pinterest bot seems to be overloading the site.

    Is this a known problem? Could it have been caused by “Feed Elite Pro”?

    Hi @beyond5stars,

    No this is not a known error and we have no way to stop that scenario as Pinterest bot crawls come from Pinterest itself.

    Our plugin only Creates the feed and update the feed periodically(if enabled) it doesn’t tell crawlers to update.

    It’s best to reach out to Pinterest support about this.
