database error w/ domain mapping
-
There has likely been covered but I can’t find it. I’m sorry.
-I have multi site enabled and installed and all is good there. (site.com)
-I added a second site included my server IP in the domain mapping menu
(newsite.site.com)-I added the new domain in the domain menu with the proper ID
I have a simple “hello world” html page on (newsite.site.com) which loads on both newsite.com & newsite.site.com.
FWIW, my domains were purchased at godaddy and my hosting is at Hostgator. Newsite, is of course, an add-on…
My problem? I can’t log into the backend. It’s giving me a database error. I don’t need to set up another database on the new site do I?
