Hi. There is a database error:

    SELECT from_name, from_email, mailer_type, smtp_host, smtp_port, encryption, authentication, smtp_username, smtp_password
    FROM wp_mail_bank

able ‘[insert database name].wp_mail_bank’ doesn’t exist

I changed some stuff involving the site’s databse. But hopefully this helps get the gist.

Please take a look when you can.

Hi. The error is coming from Post SMTP’s Wizard Page.

You can find the line at:

    PostmanImportableConfiguration.php Line 366

The plugin you posted, I don’t use.

    Hi @jfantasybooks,

Have you tried a fresh install of Post SMTP? Please paste your diagnostics log here too from Post SMTP.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

Yes, I have. This error has been there since as long as I’ve used Post SMTP, which is maybe 2 years now… It’s just it never affected anything so I didn’t care to report it.

But, I was on the forum and so took the time.

If you want to see it, try using the Query Monitor plugin. It will show when youg get on the wizard page.

As for the diagnostics, it is below. I removed some things.

    Hi @jfantasybooks,

Please update to Post SMTP 2.0.20 first and confirm the bug is still present. Then I will pass this onto the developer.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

    Hi.

I am actually updated to 2.0.20… But for some reason, the diagnostic says otherwise.

I think I may have unintentionally came across another bug. Haha.

    Hi @jfantasybooks,

New one to me! I would give your install a reinstall – it sounds like something is not right. If the diagnostics log is reporting a different version to what you are running, I am very concerned!

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

Hi. Sorry. I’m not sure why it’s showing correctly now… could be because I deleted OPcache? Or maybe I didn’t deploy the change at the moment.

Anwyays, the following is shown below. The error is still there. If you install Query Monitor and press “Start Wizard” and do not see Database Error in their log, please let me know. Because I get that regardless of fresh install or not.

    Hi @jfantasybooks,

Thank you. I will ask @yehudah to look at that when he is able.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

    Hi @jfantasybooks,

Can you confirm if this is still an issue in 2.0.21? Could you also confirm what the problem is if so? It is not very clear from this thread what is not working.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim
