• I have had errors in the database for two days, and the hosting refuses to help me because they want me to pay more. Pathetic …

The problem occurs for a few minutes, but I would like to solve it completely. How do I resolve it? Now I’m going to start wp-optimize, but I would like to know about alternatives.

  • Are you running vps (for example CentOS)? I have the same problem on OVH VPS with MySQL service.

If the database is going up and down, then it’s the DB, not WordPress. Your host needs to look at the webserver and database server logs. Given that info, there may be something that can be done from WP, or it may be that the host needs to reconfigure or repair the DB setup.

@wckalkulator I believe it is as you say; CentOS, VPS.

@sterndata The hosting refuses to help me because I have an unmanaged VPS. I paid for the managed, because of the publicity of the staff in their chat. But upon switching to managed, tech support told me there was nothing they could do. I got my money back, because the economy is precarious as long as I don’t have traffic through Google. I fixed the robots.txt file, I have to wait for the results.

I was presented with this database problem and I don’t want to pay for the managed VPS service, given the bad experience and lack of financial funds. If I am lucky, I can extend the current service for another month.

I can’t fix the database with a plugin, I asked them for support. I’ll see what they will answer me.

OK, use “mysqlcheck” from the command line.

    man mysqlcheck for the docs.

I haven’t tried your solution, I’m afraid the robots.txt file suggestion is incorrect. It won’t do WordPress folder scans.

How do I create a robots.txt that accepts everything? Then I start wp-optimize and see if that was the problem.

Let WordPress create it’s own robots.txt file; delete the one you’ve added. WP will autogenerate a correct one.

Also, robots.txt has nothing to do with this topic. If you nave a new problem, please start a new topic.
