Database data easily public?

    If you set the permissions that anyone can see the short code results, and if anyone can create a post, then it is possible that someone who knew enough about your forms to create a post with a short code on it to show data.

    OK, thank you Michael. So by default it would be impossible to actually make any database data public, unless he actually gets access to the admin area and post on the site, correct? And the database data could only be published on the same domain as where the site is hosted, right?

    Yes, by default it is admin access only (check the CFDB Options page to confirm) and the data is only available from the MySQL DB associated with the website where it is installed.
