    Hello,

I have been using Duplicator for a long time. This is what I wrote about it, back in September 2013: This is a wonderful plugin and the support by Cory Lamle through free support tickets is fine. I have been using it for three months now (both on WP 3.4.2 and 3.6.1) and I just gave it my 5-stars vote.

    However…

This week, for the first time in several months, I built an archive with Duplicator (version 1.5.3.1) and installed it on a local development computer (Windows 10 with Laragon 6.0. It runs PHP 7.4.33 and MariaDB 10.5.19, the same as on the ‘live’ server for this site). Building the archive went as usual, but not its deployment. On earlier occasions, a local installation of that specific site on the same platform took me less than 4 minutes total, but his time the last two installation steps (loading the database and data replacement) took 75 minutes.

Then I did a test with a much smaller website: 5 pages, no posts, 1 custom post, archive size 59MB, a database of 15MB with 35 tables (most of them for the WordFence plugin). Installation on the same local computer took 8 minutes.

Then, on the site I used for the test, I replaced Duplicator by a version of about half a year ago, 1.4.7.2 and used it to make a new archive (this time 57MB(?)) and did another install. This took less than 1 minute, like it had been in the past.

Any idea how this is possible or what I can do about it? A 75 minutes database build time is not really workable. Should I use the Duplicator ‘workable’ version 1.4.7.2 as a kind of ‘Duplicator Legacy’ plugin?
