• Hi Team,

    I have an e-commerce website running on wordpress & hosted on godaddy hosting. It’s a VPN hosting.

    Now a days frequently it is showing the error mentioned in the title of the topic “Database connection error”. I try to repair my db from the cpanel phpmyadmin as well as optimize it and the website works fine and infact there will be a little increase in the performance.

    However, the error keeps on repeating all the time like monthly twice & I had to keep on repairing the database from phpmyadmin.

    Could you please help me to find out the exact issue and fix this permanently?

    Below is the error shown after repairing the table.

    wp_options —-> info —> Wrong Block with wrong total length at 82…..
    wp_options —-> warning —> No. of rows changed from 60609 to 60608

    wp_wfls_2fa_secrets —> note —> The storage engine for the table doesn’t support…
    wp_wfls_settings —> note —> The storage engine for the table doesn’t support…

    This seems to be some issue with the Wordfence plugin for me.

    Thanks
    Shashikant

    T rule out a plugin or theme conflict, please attempt to disable all plugins, and switch to the default Twenty Twenty theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

    If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    If your database is crashing frequently, causing corruption, talk to your host about it. They have access to error logs, etc.
